Question: Music: Do you think a band with three guitars, a bass, drums and keyboards works!?
Or should be add one more bass!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Do NOT add another bass, unless you have 2 REAL GOOD players

it CAN be done, but is very difficult

most of the time, 2 bass players would just walk all over each other
Do you know why you want 2 bass!?

If not, why do it !?

I see it sometimes, if one plays the "lows" and one uses a piccolo bass,
there are a few examples where it can work,
but all those examples include bass players that are MASTERS of the bass,
and have been playing for many many years!.

if you're asking kids on Yahoo, for their advice, I'd say NOWww@Enter-QA@Com

If anything, I think you should Get rid of one guitar, I was in EXACTLY the same position as you!. I had all the same members, & i know its very hard to loose a member, but honestly, it spoils the band having 3 guitars!. No way should there be 2 basses because that would be all you'll hear!. Im sorry if i sounded a bit harsh!. But that's my answer!. I hope it helped :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah 3 guitars is kinda pushing it, but there is a possibility you could make it work!.

have one rhythm guitarist, then make the other two guitars have harmonizing leads (in other words dueling guitars playing the same melody using different scales/notes)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just have 2 guitars - 3 seems too much!. 0_0 Just keep one bass too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

With 3 guitars you might not be able to hear the keyboard!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
