Question: A question for advanced musicians!?
how hard is it for you to write a song!? I write all the music for 2 bands and it all comes pretty easy for me, but people will come up to me in amazement as if i am famous or something and ask me how i do it!. it just comes to me, i sit there and think up a good song!. Isnt that how everyone does it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

i write my music a similar way!. but i dont write it all like that!. sometimes i am looking for something specifically heavy and will sit down with a 7 string and just jam until something good comes out of it!.

I play bass, lead guitar, rhythm guitar and drums in various bands!.
When I write a song, I jam on the drums until Ive worked out a 4-5 minute song!. After that, I build a heavy bass!. Then I work out a strong rhythm!. By now, I already have a main riff, choruses, verses, etc!. worked out!. After that i build a soft or trembling lead that astounds everyone!.(Sometimes I make a quiet song that everyone can enjoy!.) My favorite part in the songs I write are the solos!. I try to even out solos between all the instruments!. Then I put lyrics into the melodies!. After that I present the songs to the band(s) who then edit and change the song to suit the tastes of everyone!.
Another way is to jam with your band, and then, who knows!? Great music can come from a simple jam!. What I tell people when they ask me how I myself do it, i say Practice, timing, and enjoying every single second!.
