For that price, your best value for money will be to buy a second-hand guitar - it will probably come with a case of some sort!.
One reason is that when you can afford to upgrade, you'll be able to sell the guitar for about the same price you paid for it!. If you buy a new guitar for the same price, you'll lose about 1/3 of the value just by walking out of the shop with it!.
Yes, to go with an earlier answer, Yamaha is an excellent make!. I presume your in the US!. I'm not, and I know that some of the makes we have here carry a different name in the States, but do your research - visit some online music shops and see what makes and models sell for what price!. Then look for second hand - maybe you have a local paper with adverts in the back!.
Classical guitars tend to age gracefully, so the most likely fault you'll see is a cosmetic one - and that's easily spotted!. Scratches and dinks don't affect the sound, and they don't affect playability unless someone has damaged the back of the neck, which can be really discomforting to play!.
Make sure the guitar hasn't been restrung with steel strings - that WILL damage it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
