What amp i should buy?!
Question: What amp i should buy!?
Hi i have been playing guitar for about 7months now and i think its time for a new amp!. I like Tool/Nin/Sevendust/ and Korn!.So i am try to get an amp to sound more like them!.I currently have a washburn guitar package "the x10 kit" witch comes with a washburn 15watt amp,that sounds very muddy with its distortion!. I just cant get anywhere near the sound i am looking for with my amp!. So what amps would get me the sound i am looking for!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Get a higher wattage amp, i don't know but i generally feel that bigger amps have better tones compared with those small practice amps!. I use a Peavy Envoy 50 watt(pretty much like the Bandit) with two separate channels each with three different tones

and also a master channel with reverb and boost!.
I take it that you one an amp good for metal!.
You can try the Line 6 Spider Jam!. It's an awesome amp with hundreds of presets and tones from different artists to select from!. It also has built-in jam tracks to play along with, making it a hell of a practice aid!. You can't go wrong with this!.

I still play through a Peavey Bandit 65 which I bought in 1983 (yes 1983)!. Never considered changing it!.
