Coldplay = 5 - they're ok, and I can appreciate where they are coming from, but they just seem to fall short with me!. I've actually tried!. I have two records, but like I said they just kind of fall short with me!.
Death Cab = 5!.5 - Haven't heard so much of their stuff, but what I have heard has ranged from ok to kind of lack luster!. More of it has been ok and I've considered borrowing an album from a friend to give a solid listen, but in the meantime!.!.!. I appreciate that they aspired to be a sort of combination of Elliott Smith and Built to Spill, and I hear it a little!. Maybe I've just heard the wrong stuff!.
the Killers = 5!.5 - Decent group, but it has to be in small doses!. A bit too, I don't know faux euro club rock for me, but I like some of it!. I may have just heard Mr!. Niceguy (I think that's what it's called one too many times)!. All in all they're fine!. I have a record, but I just don't ever seem to be in the mood to listen to it!.

Linkin Park = 2 - If you're a fan please take no offense, but any credit I give them is for the fact that I heard One Step Closer for the first time and thought it was some sort of joke!. A joke that was incredibly funny to me!. Then I found out it wasn't and it was even funnier!. Just not my thing!. They're so Agoura, it kind of cracks me up!.

(Mothers Milk/BSSM) = 8
(currently) = 2!.5 - Basically, I liked them a lot for that two record pocket!. I thought their stuff before that was ok, pretty good, but not my cup of tea mostly!. They had a track or two on the Navarro record that I enjoyed, but beyond that I really find their stuff post BSSM to be incredibly bland!. I walked out on them at a festival show because seriously, the first three songs in their set sounded exactly the same!. Mother's Milk and BSSM are very good records though!.
