My Chemical Romance suck because:
1) They feed off fake teenage "anarchy"!. It seems that, by listening to MCR, you automatically become a rebel in our society!. Obviously, that's not true, but MCR does nothing to discourage this!. Hell, their song "Teenagers" reached #1 in so many charts, doesn't that symbolize something!?
2) It's kind of obvious that their music is generic, boring Alternative Rock!. They're guitar solos are lame, and the musicians are mediocre at best!.
3) A large part of their popularity is due to their image!. When I think of MCR, it isn't the music that comes to mind first, but rather the stupid make-up that their members put on for whatever reason!. also, Gerard Way steals so much of the spotlight in MCR!. I'm seeing MCR fans drool over him the same way JB fans drool over (insert name) Jonas!.
And!.!.!.yeah!.!.!.mcr SUX!.
Btw, what are those "worse bands" you speak of that nobody says is crap!? Chances are they aren't mainstream enough for us to care!.

While you do have a point there, you have to realize that the Beatles were VERY influential to the advancement of music!. While they weren't very talented, and their music is generic (c'mon, admit it), they did a lot to popularize Rock music, which deserves my respect!.
What did MCR do!? Inspire a bunch of "rebellious" (I use this term VERY loosely) teens to act Emo in order to "stand out", while ignoring the fact that they're actually just conforming to so much of the other MCR fans, and at the same time disregarding the fact that the real Emo genre died out in the 90s!?
Now, I wouldn't even place the blame on MCR if they discouraged this behaviour in some way!. Unfortunately, the music they make to this day is indicating the opposite!. It has this fake rebellious feel to it that so many of young kids in our society feed on!. This, of course, is also partially due to the record label, who is also pretty profit-hungry IMO!.
Captain K'nuggles is a perfect example of one of these fans!. I certainly hope people like them either grow up, or do me a favour and not contribute to the gene pool!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The real reason why I dislike MCR is not all because I think their music is trite and whiny!. It's because the entire band is a bunch of d-bags!. People and critics alike call them "emo" and all of a sudden Gerard Way (especially) gets extremely defensive and says their not emo, emo is ********, etc!., when in fact they are quite emo indeed!.
This is why I dislike MCR more than Fall out Boy and etc!. bands!. While I despise Fall Out Boy's later music, the members of Fall Out Boy are all nice people, for the most part!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ah man, I remember MCR from a long time ago and they just completely changed!. They were good when they first started out but as they got bigger they completely changed their style and became a bit generic I guess!? They just conformed and turned into an 'everyday band' in my eyes so I personally stopped liking them!. They just stepped out of their style a bit so a lot of people don't like the new MCR because of thus!. Musically also, I feel they've gone to too much of the simplistic side of the spectrum, but I wouldn't say everyone thinks they're crap, they have a gigantic fan base!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

They aren't bad: Their old stuff was great, but their new stuff is just a little odd for my taste!. Lots of people that I know like them!. You either like them or you don't!. MOST people aren't in between!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know Gerard Way is overrated because of his looks!. I think MCR is a pretty good mainstream band!. There are even more overrated bands like Metro Station, Fall Out Boy, and Tokio Hotel!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
