First she re-done the POP/ROCK song Missing You with POP artist John Waits, then she did an album with ROCK artist Robert Plant!.And why is the latter nominated for CMA vocal event of the year,when IT'S NOT COUNTRY!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

You tell me!. I haven't ever considered Alison's music traditional bluegrass!. And, for the record, one of the songs she did on "Baby, Now That I Found You" is an old Bad Company (rock band) song ("Oh Atlanta")!.

Allison Krauss is still country/bluegrass!. Her music does have a very large crossover appeal, especially since Whiskey Lullaby got such huge airplay years ago!. The CMA Vocal Event of the Year award is for the best collaborative effort between artists, whether both are country or not!. (For instance when Alan Jackson won with Jimmy Buffet about 5 yrs ago)Www@Enter-QA@Com
