I think the self-titled debut and the second album are utterly brilliant; easily two of the best albums I own!. The songs are different from each other, from the atmospheric "Milk" to the rocking "I Think I'm Paranoid" to the groove-centric "Stupid Girl"!. Their other albums are still good, but they're clearly not as good as the first two!. I also love "#1 Crush" and the best Bond song so far, "The World is Not Enough!."
I really like Shirley Manson's vocals!. She's not the most dynamic singer, and there are certainly women out there with better singing voices, but she has a style and charisma that comes through in her vocals!. Her voice fits the music, and that's the most important thing!. On the other hand, I don't like listening to her interviews because I can barely understand her because of her extremely thick accent!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I loved their first album, every song was excellent!. The 2nd album was a little disappointing, but I'd say half the album was really good!. Then the 3rd album was worthless!. I think there was only 1 song on there that I thought was decent, but it's like the band went completely pop!. I never even bothered with the 4th album, although I heard a song from it that sounded a bit more like their earlier stuff!.
As for Shirley Manson, I don't think she's a fantastic singer, but she had a very unique sound and meshed quite well with the dirty yet feminine sound of the band!. I also thought she was really hot until she went blonde and shaved part of her head!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
