Tremolo or no Tremolo?!

Question: Tremolo or no Tremolo!?
I'm a learning guitarist just starting off, but im looking for a guitar to play hard rock/ metal!. I have been advised to get a Ibanez RG, which have a tremolo, but the SA series looks more appealing!. Would a tremolo be beneficial!?

ThanksWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
it really depends what u like to play!.!.!.!.
some techniques/sounds cant be done without a trem!.

if u play stuff by ppl like steve vai!.!.!. then YES!. he uses his whammy alot!.

i think the best thing to do is youtube what a whammy/tremolo can do!.!.!.!.and decide if those techniques appeal to u!.

search something like "whammy squels' / "whammy harmonics"

p!.s i agree with the above post!.!. the whammy wont be of much use to u if ur a beginner!.!. i hardly used mine in the 1st 2 yrs of playing!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In my view, the RG is way too commercialized and over rated!. If your looking Ibanez products, go with the XPT700 Xiphos!. Way better looking, way better sounding, and overall, better playability!.

If your just starting off, the tremelo is not needed right away, because you first have to learn how to handle the guitar first!. Without learning anything to play or know, the tremelo/Floyd is not beneficial at this point and time!. This is coming from a guitarist of 16 years, whose main influence is Dimebag Darrell!. So yea dude, go with that advice!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
