Well to go out on a limb here but crack dealers often used to wear several pairs of socks to stash their merchandise in!. Often those socks were the thick old school NBA style tube socks which were predominantly white!.
Chicago also have the colours Black, Silver and White which are the same as Raiders and Kings!.
