I think it's different for everyone but when I'm down I turn all my sadness into anger and listen to the heaviest, most angry, songs that I know!. It definitely helps me get through tough times!.

To this day,I cannot understand people who listen to depressing music when they feel awful!.I can understand the beauty of a slightly or more melancholic mood,but when you feel devastated I wouldn't recommend Joy Division(who I love of course)!.
