Minor pentatonics is basically the one scale that EVERY guitarist--regardless of genre--knows!. It's used in rock, blues, country, jazz and bluegrass!.
Then, there's the major, the harmonic minor, natural minor, the mixolydian and a whole lot more! A great musician--not just a great guitarist--will learn ALL scales, unlike myself!.
