theres a lot of good guitar players out there and it depends on the area of each one!
Angus Young is a great player cuz he uses few chords and veri simple riffs!.!.!.!.hes solos are more based on a pentatonic scale so hes basically a very simple but great player
Jimmy Page has magic on his playing!.!.!.!. great technique!
Van Halen is the taping master!
Bucket head is a magnificient shredder
Clapton, BB king, Chuck berry and some other guys are great Blues players
Slash, Morello and Kurt Cobain improved a whole generation during 80's and early 90;s
What can i say about guys on G3!?!?!?
They know every Freaking scale that has be invented
Jimmi Hendrix is a legend
Kirk Hammet, Kerry King and the guy from anthrax along with Dave Mustaine create the death thrash!
And John Frusciante, John Mayer and Dave Grohl are right now the best gguitar players on the mainstream scene
In my opinion my favorite would be James hetfield!.!.!.!. Because as a guitar player/vocalist that i am hes my role model he has a very chunky playong and hes a GREAT rythm player!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd have to say Buckethead he is a god at guitar!.
People call him a robot because no matter how difficult the guitar riff is, it seems its to simple for him!.
He is the best shredder there is and can perform slow and meanigful songs that you can feel to the heart!.
