Do you ever get depressed about musical issues?!
Question: Do you ever get depressed about musical issues!?
I'm not going to go on an idiot rant about rap, classic rock dying or the Jonas Brothers, just so you know!. Here's what I mean!.
1) For some reason, there's a Jonas Brothers poster in my English Classroom!. After class, two people were talking about them, while I watched stalkerishly!.
Person 1: I hate them!.
Person 2: Yeah, I know!. They suck!.
1: If that guy [pointing at one of them, I think Nick] was here right now, I'd punch him in the face!.
Me: [face turns to an expression of shock and disgust!.]
2: He has diabetes, you know!.
Me: [thinking: So you're going to say it's okay to punch someone as long as he's not diabetic!? That's sort of stupid, isn't it!?]
1: Yeah, I know!.
2: I hope it kills him!.
What the hell is wrong with those people!? That is creepy stuff!.
2) My old 8-track recorder thing is not working!. My song (if you don't know, my last question mentioned it) will have to go on hold for a while!. It's a shame!. I've already worked out the piano and bass parts!.
So those two things have got me really depressed!. Nothing a little Velvet Underground shouldn't fix, though!. Has this ever happened to you!?
MQ: Have you heard anything by David Bowie post Labyrinth!? Is it any good!?

I think that, in people like the ones that you described, there IS a small amount of unconscious jealousy!. Maybe it's even jealousy that the JBs are so famous while their favorite bands aren't, but it's still there (even if they say it's not)!.
I mean seriously!. I see it all of the time on here!. People say stuff like "Honestly, I hope those fags die of AIDS!" That's so immature and stupid!. You know how Jennifer Hudson's mother/brother/nephew died recently, and everyone is all sympathetic, even if they didn't care for her music!? I wonder what would happen if one of the JBs had a tragedy like that!. Would they turn hypocritical and go "Wow sorry for their loss" or become even more childish by saying "They deserve it! Lulz!"
Just because someone makes generic music and is famous for it does NOT mean they deserve to suffer, IMO!. Even if I can't stand their music!.
And to answer your Q, yes, all the time !.!.!.!. but that's another rant!. ;)

Always!. Classic rock dying, no more real rock bands, the Jonas Brothers!.!.!.All of my favorite rock stars are either dead or old now!. That's quite sad, I too get turned off when I see people acting so foolishly!. You can't wish someone death for creating terrible music, that shows the kind of cruel person you really are!.
I get depressed and rather sad when someone who has horrible taste in music thinks they know much more about 'metal' than I do!. I was talking to a friend of mine a couple of days ago and she was telling me how some bands that I dislike for their whiny music are so full of talent, a group of kids ganged up on me and started insulting my own taste in music!. I died a little inside that day!.
