That really depends!. Some people (like me) say that Led Zeppelin is heavy metal, so that would make Stairway the Stairway of metal by default!.
However, assuming Led Zeppelin is not metal, it really depends on what you mean by "the Stairway of metal!." I would guess something by Iron Maiden (Pachendale comes to mind)!. Maybe some Black Sabbath!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with Hallowed Be Thy Name but I'm surprised nobody has said Iron Man!. A song about a man who travels through time, sees the end of the world, gets trapped in a magnetic storm, tries to warn the human race, nobody believes him and he gets furious, releasing his anger on human kind, thus bringing about the the of the world!. Zeppelin's counted as metal, some places even say there heavy, surprising as it is!. :D But I dont think there IS a Stairway to Heaven of any other genre, its too amazing to have an equivalent!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
