Question: What Pink Floyd was better!?
Not many people notice this but there is considered to be three different stages of Pink Floyd!.

They are:

Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason (1965-1968) Albums: The Piper at the gates of Dawn,A Saucerful of Secrets<3

Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason (1971-1983)
Albums: Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals<3, The Wall<33, The Final Cut (OH G<3D)

David Gilmour, Nick Mason,Richard Wright (1987-1994) Albums:
A Momentary Lapse of Reason<31/2, The Division Bell<3

Out of those eras which one do you like the most!? What albums out of that era do you like the most!? Whats your favorite songs on them!?

71-83 but syd is my favorite memberWww@Enter-QA@Com

I am biased here!.!.!. Always liked Syd, and what the band did to him (not picking him up for a gig and then firing him during a mental break down) was low and lame!. Syd's Floyd was more playful musically - and not as depressing as Water's or Gilmours version!.

I do like Water's - Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and The Wall are classics - but due to radio - they have been oevr played!

Gilmour's floyd was ok - liked Division Bell - though most critics didn't like it!. But those who can't play are critics!.

So, for me, give me Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd!. Or his solo work is also nice, weird, and catchy!Www@Enter-QA@Com

This was by far, Floyd's best Lineup and Era

Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason (1971-1983)
Albums: Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall

Actually Rick Wright wasn't on The Final Cut

This version of Floyd, all together, all contributing was the best to me!. And made almost all their best albums!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

the best line up was easily the waters, gilmour, mason, wright era!. this had all of there great music, the band was working together and got along!. in my opinion they were the best band in the world during this time!. gilmour and wright wrote great music and waters is one of the greatest lyricists of all time!. Roger Waters, David Gilmore, Richard Wright, Nick Mason (1971-1983)
Albums: Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals<3, The Wall<33, The Final Cut (OH G<3D

Momentary lapse of reason was real good also!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would be really hard-pressed to narrow it down to only one, but I think the era of 71-83 would have to be my favorite!. Dark Side of The Moon is so incredible!. But then again, so is The Wall!. I don't think anyone has every made better music than Pink Floyd!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason (1971-1983)
Albums: Meddle, Obscured by Clouds, The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals<3, The Wall<33, The Final Cut (OH G<3D)

ALL DAYWww@Enter-QA@Com

Well I LOVE all of Pink Floyd's stuff, but I think my favorite was the second Pink Floyd!. I absolutely loved Syd Barrett, but you can't beat albums like The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, and Wish You Were Here!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason Www@Enter-QA@Com

"Momentary Lapse of Reason" was my favorite album, so I'd have to go with Gilmour, Mason, and Wright!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
