Bob Dylan was in negotiations to play, but pulled out when his son became ill!. He also was unhappy about the number of hippies piling up outside his house near the originally planned site!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

he was offered a gig at woodstock but he refused and decided to play at a british festival instead the isle of wight instead, he was surprised by what woodstock turned into and maybe he regretted it because he did agree to play Woodstock 94 (where he refused to play "the old songs"Www@Enter-QA@Com
I read online that the reason he didn't headline has been shrouded in secrecy for years!. It seems like he kept his reasons private and no one is really sure why he chose not to perform!. Jimi Hendrix was chosen to headline instead!. He had a bad motor vehicle accident some time prior and it changed him!. He felt that the accident was a warning of things to come!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
