1!.) First off, you need the raw talent!. Whether you bother to hone it or not (which is a good idea, so you don't ruin your voice, but there are dozens of famous singers/musicians who haven't had vocal training), you're not going to get anywhere if you can't carry a tune in a bucket!.
2!.) Get good-quality, professional recordings of at least three songs that show off your voice *well*!. It's all about networking!. Try getting a music myspace for yourself so you can put the recordings up on there; then compile a demo pack!. Burn the songs onto a CD and make several copies; put that along with a decent photograph, a brief letter or resume, and find labels that cater to the type of music you want to go into!. I can't speak for solo singers, so I'm not too clear on this (I'm the frontman of a band!.)
3!.) Realize that fame doesn't work that way!. There's nowhere you can send in a video of yourself singing and wake up the next morning to a phonecall from Sony, asking you to come to the studio and record an EP so they can release it and give you all the fame and fortune in the world!. It requires a fair amount of talent, skill, connections, and finally!.!.!. luck!. Like it or not, the music industry has a lot to do with being in the right place at the right time or knowing the right people; there are incredible musicians who never made it off the ground because they weren't lucky!. Well to even be considered you should learn how to spell first, (famous not famouse or famose; and Tokyo not Tokio)!. Then take voice lessons it is the only way to learn properly how to control your voice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
