I grew up with '80s pop and traditional Celtic music!.!.!. my first two cassette tapes were The Eurythmics' Greatest Hits and a Celtic one!.!.!. It's not part of my heritage or anything!.!.!. I just liked it!. Then I moved on to the Grease soundtrack and disco!.

I actually grew up listening to almost nothing but country--except for my parents favorite artists like Michael Jackson, Queen, etc!.
We also had a lot of party mix CD's that had songs like "Kokomo" and "Copacabana", etc!.
And Matchbox 20 was my favorite band when I was about 10, and I still love them!.
EDIT: I love their cover of "Bring It on Home!." It doesn't get nearly as much recognition as it deserves!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My music taste is completely different today!. This is early to mid nineties stuff from when I was really little!. I currently listen to metal, rock, industrial, electronic, etc!. I've gone on a long music journey since middle school when I was converted by alternative music!.

Well my Mom has always played 80's rock music, and my Grandpa used to play bluegrass!. Bluegrass isn't my favorite but I do like country!. I've never heard of Tejano!.
