Why is our rappers so commercial friendly and why they gone soft as R&B singers!? What happened to that off the wall, psychotic sh** rappers used to spit about back in the hardcore/horror-core era of the 90's !? It's change whether you like it or not!. Remember back in the 80s when rappers like Run DMC, LL Cool J, and the Beastie Boys rapped over a Rick Rubin produced beat which was the new thing!? The era of rapping over a funk/disco beat was dead!. Gangsta killed the rock beat!. Keep building up until now where it's all about R&B sounds!. Music is constantly evolving!.

i dont think it necessarily is as soft as r&b but it wasnt what it used to be and everybody can agree on that!. young jeezy is the only one that keeps it real, people give weezy too much credit but hes really not that good of a rapper people just like his swag and *********!. 50 used to be good but now his music is trash like luda and three 6 cause they aint that good either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I actually remember MC Hammer & Snap back in 90's and thought 'wow!.!.!. these guys have got potential', but over time, it's gotten less powerful, more repetitive and quite senseless!. There's a lot of talent in this genre!.!.!. it's just not finding the right 'push'!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
