Answers:
It's not just how you do them!.
They both give different tones that the other can't give!.
For examples of inbreathing (inhale growling) check out Whitechapel, or Job for a Cowboy!.
Outbreathing growling sounds like either Emmure/Acacia Strain or Dethklok for example, which is more hollow!.!.!.!.or As I Lay Dying, which uses both sets of cords unlike the other examples!.

Ok, this can really screw up your voice if you don't know what you're doing, so if it hurts to do, don't do it!.
The easiest to do is the Dethklok one!.!.!.it's basically just breathing out, try imitating Cookie Monster's voice, only a little lower!.
For the one with a little more voice in it, do a regular scream (make sure you know how to scream right, or you'll have no idea what I'm talking about) and form your mouth in the shape of an o!.
Then try and drop where you're screaming from in your diaphragm!.!.!.!.if you do it right, it'll feel like it's up in the roof of your mouth as well as low in your throat!.
For the one using both cords, I'm not going to try to teach you how to do it, it's something that's a bit too advanced to teach someone over the internet!.
If you need any more help or clarification just tell me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do believe that exhale screaming is just when you're breathing out when you're screaming!. Inhale screaming is when you're breathing in out while you're screaming!. Exhale screaming has a deep sound to it!. Inhale screaming has a different sound to it!. It's hard to describe!. They're both good screaming techniques, you just need to know which one during a song!. You do exhale screaming exactly like you'd do a death scream!. Try and make a low sound, be sure to do it from your diaphragm or you'll shred your vocal cords!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well
i dunno but im probably guessing that the difference is that inhale growls is when you do whatever it is breathing in and exhale growl is whatever it is breathing outWww@Enter-QA@Com
