Question: I have been playing guitar for about a year and I have been learning some advanced songs!?
I was wondering if your a beginner almost intermediate, do you need a new guitar!. I got a Fender squire tele for my first guitar and it's ok!. The sound doesn't really deliver!. I know how to play Enter Sandman, Back in Black, Smoke on the Water, Iron Man, Clocks, Bad to the Bone, Sunday, Bloody Sunday, Sweet home Alabama, and Louie Louie!. I think I could get a new one!. There is a sick, sick fender strat at the local guitar store thats white and gold for $290 and I'm thinking about it!. My first one was $280, I have been thinking about it and I'm thinking I should, should I!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If this one doesn't deliver, why do you think that spending 10$ more will get you something that will!?

If you want something that will give you a little more chunk, ie, a little more drive for those types of songs, then get some hotter pickups!.

I recommend Seymour Duncan, especially the Hot Rails for single-coil replacement, and the JBs, Duncan Customs, and possibly even the Invaders if you want to replace a stock humbucker!. The Invaders are too hot to do anything but dirty, they don't do clean all that well!. The other pickups aren't quite as hot, and are more versatile!.

For that kind of music, a tele isn't really best anyways, my first guitar was a squier strat and it is pretty weak!. I would recommend either replacing the pickups (cheaper), or going into the $400 range where you could get a Fender strat or an Epiphone like a Dot or SG!. It would be worth the hundred dollars cause it would last a lot longer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
