Wow!. Mixed feelings!. In a lotta ways, it's similar to Ozzy doing that MTV show!. On the one hand:
-As everyone knows, The Sex Pistols were a fabricated band!.
-On the other, they still did some damn good songs & they were still hugely influential!.
- On the one hand, yeah, he did stand against everything established!.
-on the other, when the Sex Pistols recently reunited, he openly admited it was all about the money!.
-On the one hand, when Lydon was a young man, he did the "angry young man" thing perfectly!. He convinced *me*!.
-On the other, I *guess* it'd be silly to keep trying to play up "angry young man" at what, 50-something!?
So as disturbing as this was to watch, I guess he's mellowing w!. age & shows he has a sense of humor!. (& again in it for the money)
Still, for many fans, it's muddying the legacy & image of the Sex Pistols!.
The verdict in my book: Lame!. Leave at least a *little* of the old image for fans to remember!. Every move like this flies in the face of what they *said* they originally stood for!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lol, I thought that was hysterical! I've never really been a fan of the band, but stuff like that--where they seem to be making fun of themselves--never bothered me!.
