GZA, I mean come on 5 levels above Tupac lyrically, neither of them really have special flows!. How do I word it!.!.!.!.!.!? Look here GZA is a scintillating MC, most slept on ever, alongside Scarface, and no I'm not just saying that to get on your good side as you like Scarface, I truely think he is slept on!. Some of these answers make no sense!. Just because an artist is good doesn't make them a possible GOAT contender!. If an artist who came out after 94 released one great album and 4 wack ones, why are they even considered!? If an artist released their first major album in the late 90's/early 2000's and have been successful, that's good and all but that shouldn't discount the artists who put it down in the 80's and early 90's!. What about Big Daddy Kane!? GREAT lyrics, skills almost unmatched, largely influential, and longevity in the game!. People should consider more points to a GOAT discussion than just record sales and popularity in recent years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Ice Cube is not one of the founding fathers of Hip Hop!. I would give him Founding Fathers of Gangsta Hip Hop since he was with N!.W!.A!., but I would bestow that to Ice-T, Rodney O & Joe Cooley, Too $hort, etc!.
I agree with him being a Top 10!. That man had the most hardcore, political rap in Hip Hop!. Along with Ice-T, they practically predicted an uprising in L!.A!. which culmulated to the L!.A!. Riots!. You listen to songs like Black Korea, A Bird In The Hand and How To Survive In South Central people related to that!. It related to what was going on in Urban America during the late 80's and early 90's!.

I'd say three guys that need to at least be mentioned are Canibus, Ras Kass, and Royce da 59!. Are any of them really going to be there at the end of the debate!? Probably not!. But you gotta at least mention three emcees that have held it down lyrically, better than most other cats, their entire careers and are still going hard!. Just the fact that you got kids out there who don't know who Royce and Ras are, yet claim Wayne is the greatest ever, shows how hard children buy into what the tv and radio tell them to!.
