Make sure you find a few scales on the internet and practice them every day!. Use alternate picking if you can!. I am SO lazy with this because it's pretty boring, but it really does improve your speed!. also, have ya learned to read tabs!? i would recommend it if you haven't!. Open chords (A, A minor, G, C, D, E, E minor!.!.!.!.!.!.), with just open chords and power chords you can play many, many songs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
