I don't think I'm particularly well known here!. I do like my avatar!. It's a pretty good likeness of me (apart from I shaved my metal locks back in '96) and I like the little wink, to me it typifies the frequent tongue in cheek, semi sarcastic answers I give to the "My dog just swallowed the cat!. What should I do!?" standard of question here!.
I could change it for something else I suppose, I play with images all the time in graphic design, so it wouldn't be difficult!. The avatar was done long before I discovered the addiction of Y!A and I suppose it just fits my mood!.

I change my avatar quite often, so I am not afraid that people will not recognize me anymore!. My username has always been the same (but before it has *been RIP Syd Barrett and RIP Keith Moon), so I trust that people will remember my username!. Or at least I hope that!.
Every time I am so sure that I am going to keep an avatar, another picture that I like better comes along!.
I take care to get to know people by their username, not avatar, so if they do change their avatar I will still recognize them!.

Well, I get confused when other people do it, so yes, I'd be afraid that most people wouldn't recognize me right away!. I have changed my avatar a couple times, but it's always been Jimmy, so that ought to be enough!. I might change it to a different picture of him if I feel so inclined, but Jimmy Page shall always be my avatar!.!.!. unless it's Keith Relf's birthday!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
