Question: Audition songs: Route 66 and !?
I have a jazz audition for the state music academy, for voice!.
I am required to prepare 2 contrasting jazz pieces!.
I have gone ahead and chosen Route 66 as my first selection (in a really swingy, jazzy, trio style arrangement with a bit of my own vocal improvisation and lotsa syncopation!.)
Can you recommend a good second piece to perform (for male vocal jazz)!?
