I don't know how to play guitar at all, me and my friends are thinking about entering the talent show next year!. How long will it take me to learn the rhythm guitar part for My Chemical Romance- Helena

it all depends on how much you practice but i say definatly i know people who can shred after playing for 2 months!. also my friends got the guitar and amp!. everthing is good but the amp isnt that good and the settings arnt that great!. but the guitar looks and works greatWww@Enter-QA@Com
OK first you need to learn how to read guitar music, tabs or sheet music!. You need to learn the notes on the guitar - very simple, just buy a chord & scale book!. Once you know how to read the music, you can get the tabs online for free and learn to play!. Problem is, these tabs are often inaccurate, it would be your best bet to just buy the band's actual song books!. Have a music teacher or other guitar player help you out cuz tabs are hard!.

Well first you need to get the basics, I say the only thing that will get you fast enough to learn that song by April, is a very good pro Music teacher, thats what I did, and now I jam away!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Practice, practice practice!. Teaching yourself is the best way if you're not big on music theory!. Look the song up on ultimate-guitar!.com!. They give you chord diagrams!. Good Luck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
