Ironically, this was the first music video to be shown on MTV!. It was the forerunner of many videos to come and yet it spoke of the longing for an era when music stood on its own, independent of image and fashion!. Uh wow I seriously have no idea if I had to guess it would probably be that television ruins our lives or that you can be famous locally but once you're on television or something you're basically ruined!. Which is totally understandable because a lot of people who do get famous and are on tv constantly tend to ruin their lives with drugs, scandals, etc!.
