im the song writer for my band called:The Stripe With No Name!. it is a rock band and i am getting really stuck on what the lyrics!.!.!.!.!.has any 1 got any lyrics 2 share with me so it can give me some idears plzzz!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Start with a conflict or a social anomaly of some kind!. From there find a beat, and keep it in your head!. Don't say what you mean, speak in fragments like a stream of consciousness!.

Never squelched the need
Ta da!. The willow is symbolic of lost or forsaken love!. So this is about unrequited love that was cured by rape, and now the guy regrets it!.
Symbols are important because you want to be cerebral without being repetitious!. Many famous bands find a catchy line and then grind the same 5 words into your skull for three and a half minutes!.
Those aren't good lyrics!.

Write about your experiences, people you all know, places you have visited, current issues!. Alternatively tell a story in the lyrics!.

unfortunately, it's hard to do what you are suggesting this way around!. it's easier to put lyrics to music than the other way around!. get a tune first and then i could probably help more!.
