When we finally looked up the lyrics, I felt like the biggest moron on the planet!.

Yeah, a zillion times!. Here's a trivial example: the line "a little Victor Sylvester and Rudy Valentino" from "Long Tall Glasses" (Leo Sayer) I always thought was "a little make yourself faster and Rudy Valentino!." And it didn't matter that that made no sense whatsoever; I sang it that way just the same!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
