Question: Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood!?
Did anybody else feel this song was so sad!? What was the message you got from it, like what was the song about!? I think it is about this girl who was engaged and her husband goes off to war and is killed!. And in the music video it shows her walking down an aisle in a wedding veil and I think she is hoping its a dream and he's still alive and the wedding is still on!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought it was really sad, but it is a beautiful song!. I tink it was about a young woman and her and her boyfriend were engaged, whe her boyfriend was recruited by the military and got killed before they could get married!. So yes, you are correct!. But I think that in the song she still feels like he is still alive until she gets a dose of reality and snaps out of her trance!. And then she is having a hard time moving on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
it is so sad it made me cry!.!.!. I got from it that a girl is engaded and they get married but after the wedding he has to leave for war and then he dies in war!.!.!. :( and she is walking down the aisle in the beging to show that they where getting married and then everything turns to black stuff and a funeral because they found out he died it such Www@Enter-QA@Com

it totally made me cry because it made me think of my cousin who just got married to a marine captain and he's going soon and i hope he dosent die and i think my cousin deserves the world so it would be totally unfair and then my mom heard it and she was thinking the same thing! so sad! I love carrie underwood and i think she did an awsome job with that music video and she had real tears in it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes this song played quite a bit while my hubby was deployed!. But this is about a girl who just turned 18 years old and getting ready to get married, when her fiance is called to war!. He is KIA (killed in action) and she realizes that they will not be able to get married and she is devastated!.
She wishes she can just wake up and that it all must be "just a dream"!.
