Well, I did hear about this band for the first time last night!. That was because I am having this Post Metal/Atmospheric Metal craze right now!. I just didn't listen to this band yet!. So I will give you credit for introducing me to this band!. ;)
Anyway, I really liked this band!. Of course, I expected I would, lol!. This was awesome though!. Like I said before, I can definitely see why Emily and APC love this genre!. It is actually very relaxing!. Some of the bands that come out of Atmospheric Metal genres sound like they could make their very own soundtrack to a movie!.
As for this band, I loved the vocals!. Yes, I can see how you would call this band an Atmospheric Dark Metal band!. They kind of sound like a touch of Black Metal hidden in their style of music!. Overall, you found a great band!. Be proud of yourself!. also, keep spreading the word about bands!. I don't meet many people on this site that do that!. Especially people of your age!. Nope, never heard of them!. First song was nice, if a bit ethereal (can metal be ethereal!? Must've been something in the vocals)!.

I'd never heard of Agalloch until earlier this year when they played one of only two shows in the US this year in their hometown (and mine), Portland, OR!. I went down to get tickets for a doom metal fest at a local club and unfortunately the night they headlined was sold out!. Bum deal for me and I'm hoping they come back around!. I checked out most of their stuff on IMEEM and those guys are full-on brilliant!. An original sound that grabs hold and won't let go!. I definitely need to add their albums to my collection!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Agalloch is awesome, i cant believe someone actually posted a thing about them on here (or even knows they exist) yay for the great underground in heavy metal!. My preferred album (though not the best mixed) is Pale Folklore!. The Mantle and others are still pretty amazing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hey KP, I'm a huge fan of Agalloch!. I'm really surprised that they are not talked about more!. I predict they will be really big in the future!. Very diverse work they have put out so far!. Ashes Against the Grain is a near masterpiece, definitely recommended!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That was pretty damn good! I liked the mix of clean vocals and growls!. The clean vocals were not the best I've ever heard but they definitely sounded good for this band in my opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
