Question: How does the R&P community rate Ritchie Blackmore as a guitarist!?
Along with Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi this guy was a pioneer in the metal genre!.!.!.!.!.technically he was probably the best out of the three!.

He is very underrated!. He is normally outshone by Jimmy Page/Eric Clapton/Jimi Hendrix/Jeff Beck/Keith Richards etc!. even though Keith couldn't hold a candle next to Ritchie!. He and Iommi deserve more credit than people normally remember to give them!. They've had a massive impact on the music industry, and people just fail to realize it!.

Ritchie Blackmore isn't mentioned quite as often with Page and Hendrix, or even Clapton!.!. but he is well worth it!. Yes, i'd say he is pretty underrated!. In my book, he's up there!.!.
