Question: Did i pick the right song for sopano 1!?
im trying out for concert choir at my school and we get to pick the song i chose the star spangled banner because of the steps up and down, the jumps into the different octaves and of course the high notes!. my old chorus teacher is also the pianist at my church and i asked high it was a Good song for me but i need more opinions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well it is a very wide ranged song and yes i'll admit it is a good song to show your quality, but at the same time its used so much!. You wanna throw them a curve ball, knock them around a lil bit!.!.!. oh and if you really wanna knock them down and garuntee a spot sing a foreign song!. That's what i did anyway!.

how about "wishing you were somehow here again" from Phantom!? It has a descent range to it and it's got some good dynamics that you coud work on!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
