Procol Harum has confused Latin students for years with that name!. The band got it from the birth certificate of their drug dealer's pedigree Siamese cat!. The name was actually "Procol Harun", which translates loosely as "beyond these things"!. It turned out that the band members misread the name on the birth certificate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Originally called simply Procol Harum they have re-titled it A Whiter Shade Of Pale in honour of one of the greatest pop records of all time!. !.!.!.
