Everyone has a song/abum that got them in!.!.!. I got in fairly late compared to most people!.
Anything from Kurtis Blow to Illmatic!. Once i'd heard illmatic, I knew Hip Hop would be a mainstay!.!.But when i heard the wake up show frestyle for 94 http://uk!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=UGVzNvwlrr!.!.!. and T!.R!.O!.Y!. by Pete Rock & CL smooth!.!.
It was a wrap(no pun intended)!. Hip hop became like a sacred art to me!.

the song on it: Get 'em High (I heard kweli and decided to get some of his stuff, now he's even my avatar on heer)
The albums that really did it for me was, Black Star (talib), Liquid Swords (Gza) and Quality (talib) the songs that just sealed the hip hop appreciation were, Respiration, Theives In The Night, Guerilla Monsoon Rap, The Proud, Good To You, and Liquid Swords, after I heard these songs life was never to be the same again!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The album the song that got me in, was the first song I learned "Push It" by Salt-N-Pepa!. I was like 4, or 5 shouldn't have been listening to that but that was the first song I learned word for word!.

I Need Love - LL Cool J!. My cousin had that song along with "My Posse's On Broadway" by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and I got hooked!. The bass and the rhythm to that song inticed me to hip hop!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
