Question: What gives an album classic status!?
Is it having great songs with great beats and lyrics and little to no filler!? Because I can think of some great LPs with no filler that aren't considered classic, and some that are considered classic that have a little bit of filler!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

OH SO THIS IS KIND A LIKE PART 1!.!.!. I c wut u sayin!. There some undisputed classics that contain a bit a filler like say ALL EYEZ ON ME; and there are some flawless records that arent considered classics say Common's LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE or The Roots THE GAME THEORY, so there is definitely more 2 it than just song quality!.!.!. I think 4 a record 2 b considered classic it must introduce sumthin fresh that hasnt been done before, not so much as in subject matter or topics but in da muzik style, and it has 2 have sum type of effect on Hip Hop!. Take Mobb Deep's The Infamous for example, no1 denies it being a classic but it aint da 1st hardcore rap or gangsta rap album ever!. What sets it apart is da style and da influence, there was nuthin as dark and cold as it b4 and there is little doubt many gangsta rappers continued this form of cold blooded murda muzik!. Honestly, there might b better records than certified classics in terms of song quality but those records might only be a direct copycat of another record!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
