What happened to the times when people used to rap about meaningful things!? Why are all these rappers making pop songs now!? Am I the only one who thinks we need more rappers like Tupac, Biggie, Bone, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Scarface, Rakim, Common, Ludacris, Eminem!? Where is Eve, and Busta Rhymes!? I keep getting cussed out over YouTube cuz I ask people if they can name one song by Lil' Wayne where he says something intelligent!. And I'm not even being sarcastic when I ask!. I'm just like,"Can somebody name a good Lil' Wayne song that he wrote by himself that is good!?" And people get all defensive!
I think they know that rap now sucks, but for some reason they don't wanna admit it!. I don't get it! Why not just say,"Ok, I love THIS about rap now, but THAT has got to go!." I really think the beats in rap now are raw, but I don't know what happened to the lyrics!. It's kind of sad cuz to me rap is a poem on fire, and what's a poem without good lines!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
