"Coming out of the Dark" - Gloria Estefan
"Reach for the Sky" - Cutting Crew (this one is my fav on the tape)
"Cup of Life"- Ricky Martin
"One Dream" - Dream Academy
"Heal the Pain" - George Michael
"Galileo" - Indigo Girls ( Another great one)
"You were there" - Eric Clapton (wonderful meaning)
"That's the way it is" - Celene Dion

"I Will Survive" first released by Gloria Gaynor, is a great anthem of feminine determination, tied to an inspiring musical track!. This song hit #1 on The Billborad Top 40 in Jan!. 1979, and was on the charts for 17 weeks, so somebody besides me liked it! Oh, another fact about it: it went platinum (meaning it sold more than 1 million copies), and her label, Polydor was very happy!.
"I Coming Out" by Diana Ross, is another upbeat song that charted well, reaching #5 on the Billboard charts in October, 1980!. It was on the charts for 14 weeks!. I like it, but not as well as "I will survive"!.
Two songs from Irene Cara that you would probably enjoy are "Fame" (1980, #4 on Billboard, on 12 weeks) and "Flashdance" (1983, #1, 20 weeks)!. And also, check out "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes, which also went to #1 in 1981, and charted for 20 weeks! Awesome song!.
Hope you enjoyWww@Enter-QA@Com
