Question: Have you ever wrote a poem about a musical artist!?
Just a few words about Elliot Smith:
The third row, hands in pockets, arms locked at side,
upward viewpoint, man of thin stature, hair uncombed curled,
Lyrics like a therapists prayer, out of reach and distant,
Words and bangs meant to block out the world!.
The band played with you, supporters of the cause,
You orchestrated, a true Maestro, perfect tone,
Somehow they were not able to fly as high,
Sweet-sorrow songs were meant to be played alone!.
Reminiscent of Liverpool; Could 1 be greater than 4!?
Was it Harrison's misnomer uttering "Here, Comes the Sun",
Portland Son, or white-hot sun, imploding, disintegrating
Shining; too beautiful for this world, Oh Fab One!.
Any similar crazed experiences!?

So she says ‘Rock a little’, and doesn’t it always!?
Just when you think you’re standing steady
the waves come crashing on your shore,
knocking you back to the floor!.
But you get back onto your feet, don’t you Lily,
ready for the next one,
the tremors never keep you down for long!.
Rock a little
Play on, just like you always do!.
Never mind the thunder, the roses are in bloom!.
Time always flies when you’re having fun,
nothing lasts forever,
the rain cools down the sun!.
So lightning strikes, in the darkness of your mood!.
Enjoy it for what it is,
and hold on to the tune!.
