Question: Singer afraid to sing!!?
I'm a singer!. I'm no Mariah Carey but i am pretty good!. But when i have to sing for a group or crowd by myself i get extremely nervous!. The thing is, is that im a performer!. I can dance and act on stage, and im extremely good at speaking in front of a huge crowd!. But when i have to sing i shake and so can hear me shaking in my voice, and then i sound terrible!
The worse part is, is that i can sing without being nervous when im auditioning but when it is just for fun, i got sooo nervous!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Believe me, I know what you mean!. For several years I was terrified of doing anything in front of an audience, let alone let them hear me sing!. I know it sounds silly, but you needs to constantly remind yourself that your a great singing!. A lot of times nervousness comes from questioning your ability!. You know your a good singer, but in front of an audience you start to think that maybe your not good enough!. Before you perform, say to yourself "I AM A GREAT SINGER!" It sounds silly, but it works!. also, take a paperclip on stage with you to rub!. It is a huge stress reliever that will make you feel more comfortable on stage!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
