REM is mainstream now, and has been for a long time, as are most of the "Alternative" bands I grew up with!. Are there any, anymore, or is it even still a genre!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, alternative is still around!. But nowadays alternative isn't that cool!.
When I was in high school, REM was already old!. Alternative was Linkin Park (before they went mainstream), and local band sounds!. The sound was more "nu-metal"!.
Now, my little brother is in high school, and alternative isn't the thing, but there are some alternative sounds!. Alternative has turned into "indie"!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
