Current fashion is to pick with the fingers, and I prefer that method myself for most stuff, but the different attack you get with a pick can be more suited to some music, so I use a pick sometimes!.? There are plenty of top players who use a pick -- Chris Squire, for instance!.? I would say ultimately learn both methods, and use whichever suits the music you are playing;? but in the short term, go with whichever you find most comfortable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Uncool!? Who cares!? I play guitar and bass both!. Since I lay guitar with a pick, it's easier for me to just use the pick on hte bass too!. Use the one you like!. Practice like crazy and when you get good, nobody will care how you do it!. Cool is making good music!. Not how you do it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
