I've played in a metal band in a metal band for years and the few effects pedal I bought was a Boss MT2 Metal Zone!. It is a great first fx tool!
Once you've got that then there are a million different effects to choose from!. Your best bet is to go in to a guitar shop and ask if you can try some out!Www@Enter-QA@Com
