what are good ways to become really fast at bass im trying to play faster but when i do i don't always get the right notes in!. please help,

honestly man, it all comes down to practice practice practice!. The more you play, the faster you will be!. If you think you don't have a good amount of hand muscle, try getting a tennis ball and squeezing it for awhile, this will work out your hand and build some muscle!. Play/slap until your fingers fall off!.
Practice tough scales slowly at first, and get faster the more you work at it!.
You can also take the time to listen to your favorite bassists and study their style!.

Well of course practice, because practice makes perfect!. You should start learning scales!. Start off with the basics and then when you have them memorized you can start playing them faster and then learning more difficult scales!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
there's really no shortcuts!. i do a lot of finger exercises to loose up my fingers and help with the strain of playing fast!. you could also determine yourself to learning a fast songWww@Enter-QA@Com
