well I made up a little tune on the guitar and I was just wondering if i shouldkeep going with this song or just forget about it!. I just started playing guitar and I am aware im not very good!.
what doyou think of it, and what genre of music does it sound like!?

Answers:
First, get a tuner and use it regularly!. Make sure to change your strings every 2-3 months, they sounded kinda dead, too!. It helps a lot if you make your recordings a little louder, I had to max out my laptop's volume to even hear it!. I've found Audacity to be a great editor!.!.!. and it's free!.!.!. google it!.!.!.!.
Work on your fingering, both in your notes and in your chords!. Listen to yourself playing on clean (no distortion)!. If you hear any buzzing, go back and play it again, slowly, and keep doing that until you figure out what you're doing that's causing the buzzing!. Playing cleanly is one of the biggest indicators that you might know what you're doing!.!.!. and playing poorly says you're either a noob (which is okay, we all have been) or you're just sloppy and lack talent, or don't even realize how bad your fingering is!.
So, I dunno, your piece needs some work!. It seems like you acknowledge that - and that's good!. It's healthy to know where you need improvement in!. I've just outlined some of the mechanical stuff - it's a little harder to lay out the compositional stuff, since I couldn't hear a good portion of the song!.
Seems like a nice little song!. I don't know what genre it would be classified as!.!.!. add something more to it, give it a little more style!. Try playing only part of a chord, not the full thing, or try adding some ornamentation (ie, sus2, sus4) to keep the chords from sounding generic!.
