How does the process of selling a guitar to guitar center work?!

Question: How does the process of selling a guitar to guitar center work!?
I want to sell them my mint condition SG I bought there for 599!.99 (half off during green tag sale, shoulda been 1199!.99), looks and plays like brand new!. I was just wondering how the process works from when I take it in the first time to when they will actually buy it!. How long does it take!? Give me details if youve ever sold something to guitar center!. Thanks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Guitar Center will buy it back at a significantly low cost!. You would probably see about $300 (probably less) for it!. You will get the same amount of money as if you sold it to a pawn shop!.

Most local mom-and-pop guitar shops will sell on consignment and will usually only charge you about 10-15%!.

The wisest way to sell it for profit is CraigsList!. There is no cost for posting, and you are guaranteed the price you want!. My word of advice to ask for cash only - often, you will get checks that bounce!.

Selling on eBay is a risk: you will rarely get the MSRP or even close on eBay, especially because you are not an authorized dealer of Gibson/Epiphone!. You also have to pay for the posting, whether you sell it or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You're better off putting it on ebay!. They might let you put it on consignment at Guitar Center, but you'll make more money off ebay!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
