Answers:
Well the moonlight sonata is very sad by nature!.!.!.If I'm not mistaken, he wrote for one his students, a 17 year old countess!. Her name was Giulietta Guicciardi and Beethoven fell in love with her!. It's original name is "Sonata quasi una Fantasia" The work got it's Moonlight sonata name long after Beethoven's death by Ludwig Rellstab, a music critic who compared it to the moonlight shining upon Lake Lucerne!.
