Question: How much do you need to know if you want to write lyrics for a living!?
I have been writing songs for seven years and think I want to do it professionally!. So I was wondering what do you need to know!. I already know how to play the piano and how to read notes!. I know there is more though, and what kind of school should I go to if I wanted to do this!? Thank youWww@Enter-QA@Com

Writing lyrics for a living is tough unless you excel in it!. You don't need to play piano or read notes to write lyrics!. If you want to compose a song then the other stuff helps!. You just have to be lucky and submit your lyrics to the right person that views them!. With books you submit to publishing companies but that does not mean you won't get rejected by them which is more often than not, with lyrics I would guess you either send to different record companies or directly to the contact for the artist you want to sing your stuff!. Hope this helps, don't forget to send yourself a copy in a sealed and post marked envelope before you even send off as this will protect the lyrics as your own!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
